We are thrilled that you have taken the time to learn more about the Association. We are equally excited about presenting our 9th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade to the Western New York community. For the past eight years this event has brought our people together in a celebration full of music, dance, great food and pride. We have been able to welcome our friends and neighbors from all over Western New York and Southern Ontario with different backgrounds into our lives and culture, so they too may share in the great warmth, dignity and history of the Puerto Rican and Hispanic cultures and celebrate with us.Above you will see links to the different pages on the website. The parade will empower the community, and in particular our youth, by promoting civic pride, celebrating the history of Puerto Rico, and increasing awareness of Latin America's diverse cultural heritage. Association members will be cultural ambassadors, historical preservationists, and civic activists.
